Trivia: The wedding scene where Mitch makes a speech was added during filming. And the idea came from Vince Vaughn.

Dialogue On Dialogue: As we have seen this week, toasts can be an opportunity to mine humor at public functions such as weddings, inappropriate subject matter in a special public environment. Tomorrow we have an example of a very different tone and feel with a movie toast.
