Zyzzyx Road is a independent film made in 2006 with a budget of $1.2 million. Even though it stared Tom Sizemore and Katherine Heigl, it is notoriously on record as the lowest grossing film of all time with a grand total of $30 in ticket sales.

  1. “Entertainment Weekly” did an article on this movie a few years ago. I haven’t gotten to the linked article here, but in the “EW” article, the director said that twenty of the $30 came from two people who worked on the film. He felt pretty guilty about it so he paid them back, making the unofficial take $10.
