Not sure why it’s taken me so long, but I’ve only recently started watching The Wire. Currently up to episode 8 of series 1.
It is as all have told me: excellent.
Scott, I recently discovered a few copies of scripts from “This Wire” and the “Wire Bible” online.
The first time I saw this scene, I was almost literally rolling on the floor.
I have to say that there are many reasons I love this series. I think perhaps the way a potentially disturbing scene like this one, is laced with humor, gives it a lot of zing.
