Trivia: The movie’s line “Well, nobody’s perfect.” was voted as the #48 movie quote by the American Film Institute (out of 100).

Dialogue On Dialogue: Wilder and Diamond did not like this line when they wrote it, but left it in the script, figuring they’d come up with a better line later. They didn’t, so Wilder shot it as is… thankfully!
