“Movies reimagined for another time & place”

Insanely cool!

I mean seriously! From artist Peter Stults. You can see 17 of his reimagined movie posters here.

I can’t remember how I found the link, but thanks to whoever it was.

  1. These are pretty darn spiffy – if I had the talent, I’d do one for a 50s era THE MASTER, with Marlon Brando as Freddie Quell, Orson Welles as Lancaster Dodd, and Grace Kelley as Peggy Dodd. Welles would write and direct, natch.

If the human species survives long enough, I believe there will come a time where we can actually digitally plug any actor from any era into any movie, and remake movies with different directors, writers, technicians, etc. Want to see a 80s era Jack Nicholson take a crack at Daniel Plainview in THERE WILL BE BLOOD? What Hitchcock would have done with THE SHINING? Or get really crazy and see what happens when Ingmar Bergman does HOME ALONE?…

Teddy, was that you? I should have figured. I LOVE those posters! Thanks a bunch for sourcing that!
