Wow. This interview needs multiple viewings to get Judd Apatow’s simply profound and insightful observations about writing and the industry. On first blush, only the last third grabbed me. But I went back. So many gems. This is a man who is reaching out with good information. He talked about the balance between comedy and drama. On his process: “write out hundreds of scene ideas and slowly the plot reveals itself to me.” and “attracted to a creative person and an idea that you think will work.” Thank you.
