“You’re right, Harvey. Rachel’s death was my fault. But punish me–.”

The Dark Knight (2008), screenplay by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan &
David S. Goyer, characters by Bob Kane

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is begging for one’s life, suggested by Despina.

Trivia: This is the first Batman movie where Batman operates outside of Gotham.

Dialogue On Dialogue: A variation on theme. Instead of using one’s child as the basis for begging for one’s own life, this is actually begging for a child’s life.
