Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Reunion

NOTE: I am re-posting this because in a GITS first, not one person made a suggestion for this week’s Daily Dialogue. I’m sure I can come up with seven examples myself and will gladly do that, however in the grand tradition of this series with 1,800+ consecutive daily posts, let’s see if folks want to chime in.

After a week’s worth of seductive movie dialogue (thanks for that theme, Despina), next week we go with this: Reunion, suggested by Laura Deerfield.

High school reunions, college reunions, family reunions, lots of source material. Let’s come up with 7 great reunion scenes with some memorable dialogue, okay!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
