Spec Script Sale: “From Here to Albion”

Participant Media acquires thriller spec script “From Here to Albion” written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. From Deadline:

The story is set in a coastal English town, where a tragic accident sets a chain of violence in motion and a malevolent stranger seeks revenge on the perpetrators and the detective who covered it up.

Duo is repped by UTA and Oasis Media Group. This is their first sale.

By my count, this is the 80th spec script sale in 2013.

There were 89 spec script sales year-to-date in 2012.
