Daily Dialogue — September 7, 2014

Detective Loki: Alex Jones, unfortunately has the I.Q. of a 10 year-old. There’s no way someone with the I.Q. of a 10 year-old could abduct 2 girls in broad daylight and then… somehow disappear.
Keller Dover: Well, maybe he wasn’t on his own. How could he drive an RV if he has an I.Q. of a 10 year-old? 
Detective Loki: We’re considering all possibilities.
Keller Dover: I don’t think you are considering all possibilities.
Detective Loki: Sir…
Keller Dover: Shut up for just a second!

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Abduction.

Trivia: Early in the film Anna and Joy are seen in the Birch household watching a white rat. Later in the film, when Keller decides to take matters into his own hands and leaves to find Alex, the scene cuts again to the rat at Birch household, but now it is black, foreshadowing Keller Dover’s transition from holy man to sinner.
