The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Bullying.

Trivia: Feature film debut of Adam Baldwin, Joan Cusack, and Jennifer Beals (uncredited).

Dialogue On Dialogue: “When a boy comes to a new school and gets harassed by a bully, he acquires the services of the school’s most feared kid as a bodyguard.” That’s the setup. Then in this scene, the bully produces his own bodyguard. It’s a painful scene to watch, especially so because Linderman doesn’t say one word during the entire 6+ minute sequence, nothing to defend himself.
