2014 Film and Television Writers Calendar

While you were busy hammering back egg nog and champagne over the holidays, the folks in our little part of the world (The Black List, Go Into The Story, The Black Board) were busy creating a gift for the online writing community:

The 2014 Film and Television Writers Calendar

You can go here for the web version.

You can go here for the Gmail calendar version.

The calendar lists every major film festival, significant screenwriting and TV writing competition (including entry deadlines), awards ceremony, and a lot more, each with active links taking you to each event or organization. Plus each month features a quote from a notable author to inspire your writing.

In sum, every date you need to make 2014 the best screenwriting year yet.

We will update the web version throughout the year as some event dates get locked down, but if you know of something you think deserves to be on the calendar, drop me an email.

Many thanks to everyone involved in putting together the calendar and especially Shaula Evans, Wendy Jane Cohen, Terry Huang, and Glen Charbonneau.

Now go kick some writing ass in 2014… and never miss an important date doing it!
