Behind the scenes: “Rango”

It’s one of my favorite movies of 2011: Rango. And here’s a look at the development of the animation along the way:

I love this movie, one of the best films about self-identity in years. Here is a beautiful clip which poses that basic question: “Who am I?”

And then my favorite scene in the movie where Rango meets the Spirit of the West [sorry for the poor video quality]:

“Someday you gotta dig deep to find what you’re looking for… No man can walk out of his own story.” I mean, how great is that?
