Black List script gets set up
Call it The Black List Effect as MGM procures “The How-to Guide for Saving the World” from writer BenDavid Grabinski with Barry Sonnenfeld attached to direct:
Story’s centered on an instruction manual for saving the world left behind by a secret group that protects the Earth from alien invaders but is wiped out.
“Unfortunately, a non-action-hero guy not unlike me, in terms of manliness, and a woman who hates him find the book and have to save the planet from an impending attack,” Sonnenfeld said.
