Blogroll Spotlight: Living the Romantic Comedy with Billy Mernit

I’ve linked to a number of great screenwriting blogs in my Blogroll. One of them is Living the Romantic Comedy, hosted by Billy Mernit. I’ve gotten to know Billy when we both led screenwriting workshops at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Studio and I recommend his book “How to Write a Romantic Comedy” to all my students who write rom-coms.

Billy is a teacher, lecturer, script consultant, songwriter — and recently he added ‘novelist’ to his list of accomplishments with the publication of “Imagine Me and You: A Novel”

Billy has been blogging for several years and his posts run the gamut — movie analysis, screenwriting tips, cultural trends, personal observations — all tied to the romantic comedy genre. If you haven’t already bookmarked Living the Romantic Comedy, now’s the time to visit Billy Mernit’s virtual world.
