Countdown to FADE IN: Day 1

Tomorrow Monday, October 22nd, participants in Go On Your Own Quest are scheduled to move out of Prep and into Pages: In other words, type FADE IN.

Here’s how the Pages part of the Go On Your Own Quest process is structured: 10 weeks, 10 writing deadlines, 10–15 pages per week. You should target Monday as the start of your writing week and Sunday as the day you deliver your pages. Repeat each week for 10 weeks and voila: Your first draft. Done by December 30. Great way to end 2012.

If you are ready to start writing a script, GOYOQ is a free way to find both a structure and a community of writers with whom to share the experience. You may visit the GOYOQ Forums here.

This opportunity arose from the GITS community in conjunction with “The Quest” and I wholeheartedly support it. In fact starting tomorrow, I will be uploading an inspirational post each day [Monday-Friday], committing myself to — somehow — find 50 ways to uplift your efforts for the next 10 weeks.

1 day to FADE IN. Hollywood needs great stories. Here is your chance to write one.
