Jupiter Jones: Are those flying boots?
Caine Wise: They harness the force of gravity, redirecting it into differential equation slips so you can surf.

Jupiter Ascending (2015), The Wachowskis

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Technobabble.

Trivia: The chase sequence in Chicago was codenamed “Fifty-Two Part” by the film’s crew. It was the longest sequence in the script and involving some of the film’s most difficult stunts. To complete it, Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum had to film every day for six months.

Dialogue On Dialogue: This is something we see often with the use of technobabble in movies: An unscientific character pleads a general level of ignorance, followed by a simple explanation by the one who just uttered the technobabble.
