Daily Dialogue — April 28, 2018
“If you try to run, I’ve got six little friends and they can all run faster than you can.”
— From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, story by Robert Kurtzman
The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Quentin Tarantino.
Trivia: The first script that Quentin Tarantino was paid to write, for the mere sum of fifteen hundred dollars. Special Effects Technician Robert Kurtzman asked him to write a screenplay based on his story in return for providing the ear-slicing scene in Reservoir Dogs (1992).
Dialogue On Dialogue: Tarantino is especially great writing lines in which one character warns another character of the potential for impending violence.
