“This puts us in an awkward position. I don’t have enough to continue.”

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), written by Guy Ritchie

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Gambling.

Trivia: Vera Day, who plays Tanya the dealer, bears a striking resemblance to the character of Lady Fingers in the famous film The Cincinnati Kid (1965), a classic about a young card pro who takes on a older foe.

Dialogue On Dialogue: Gut-wrenching scene. You pray Eddie get the hell out of the game. But no. He’s in to win it… but loses it. One of the best gambling scenes ever.
