Marty: Calvin? Wh… Why do you keep calling me Calvin?
Lorraine: Well, that is your name, isn’t it? Calvin Klein? It’s written all over your underwear.

Back to the Future (1985), written by Robert Zemeckis & Bob Gale

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Bed.

Trivia: In the French translation of the movie, Marty McFly is called “Pierre Cardin” in 1955, instead of “Calvin Klein”. In the Spanish translation, Marty is called “Levi Strauss” in 1955.

Dialogue On Dialogue: An interesting conversation occurs on a bed in Back to the Future in which Marty awakens from having been knocked unconscious only to discover he’s talking with his young mother, who clearly has some prurient interest in her new acquaintance: Calvin Klein.
