Daily Dialogue — January 11, 2014

Danny Ocean: It houses a security system that rivals most nuclear missile silos. First, we have to get within the casino cages which anybody will tell takes more than a smile. Next, through these doors… each of which requires a different six digit code changed every twelve hours. Past those lies the elevator. This is where it gets tricky. The elevator won’t move without authorized fingerprint identification. 
Rusty Ryan: Which we can’t fake. 
Danny Ocean: And vocal confirmation from both the security system within the Bellagio and the vault below. 
Rusty Ryan: Which we won’t get.
Danny Ocean: Furthermore the elevator is rigged with motion detectors.
Rusty Ryan: Meaning if we were to manually override the lift, the system would lock down immediately and we’d be trapped. 
Danny Ocean: Once we get down the shaft, it’s a piece of cake… just two more guards with Uzis and the most elaborate vault door ever conceived.

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Explain the mission, suggested by Shaula Evans.

Trivia: The script was sent to Julia Roberts with a $20 bill attached. Included was a note from George Clooney that said “I hear you’re getting 20 a picture now”. This of course is a joke referencing Julia Roberts becoming the highest paid actress at $20 million per picture.

Dialogue On Dialogue: In order to explain the mission, you have to explain the obstacles in the way. Who better to do that than George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
