Noah Vosen: [in car, on cell phone] Perhaps we can arrange a meet.
Jason Bourne: Where are you now?
Noah Vosen: I’m sitting in my office.
Jason Bourne: I doubt that.
Noah Vosen: Why would you doubt that?
Jason Bourne: If you were in your office right now we’d be having this conversation face-to-face.
Bourne hangs up.
— The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), screenplay by Tony Gilroy, Scott Z. Burns, George Nolf, novel by Robert Ludlum
The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Espionage. Today’s suggestion by josuemolinax.
Trivia: The production devoted six weeks to filming the climactic car chase in lower Manhattan. In the sequence all vehicles are being operated at no more than thirty-five miles per hour (35 M.P.H.) because the New York Police Department would not allow greater speed due to concern for public safety.
Dialogue On Dialogue: Don’t you love it when the hero turns the tables on the bad guys, especially with a nice reveal like this?
If you have a suggestion for this week’s theme, please post in comments.
