The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Last Line.

Trivia: A recent study claimed that this is the most watched movie in film history, largely due to the number of television screenings each year as well as the various video/DVD releases, which have enabled children of every generation to see it.

Dialogue On Dialogue: People may think this is just a rather cute line, however it offers a capstone on Dorothy’s journey from Disunity to Unity. At the beginning of the story, she didn’t feel like this Kansas farm was her home, hence her desire to fly away “Over the Rainbow”. After her journey to Oz and her experiences there, she was able to see her circumstance in a different light and get in touch with her feelings for the people back home.
