Ilana: Does anyone want to say anything? Didn’t any of you know him?
Ben: Alright, I knew him. John Locke was a … a believer, he was a man of faith, he was … a much better man than I will ever be. And I’m very sorry I murdered him.
Lapidus: Weirdest damn funeral I’ve ever been to.

Lost, S6E4, (2010), created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof, written by Elizabeth Sarnoff and Melinda Hsu Taylor

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Eulogy. Today’s suggestion by Roo Black.

Trivia: The surviviors of Oceanic Flight 815 started a burial ground near their beach camp … according to actor Jorge Garcia, the cast and crew refer to this graveyard as “Boone Hill” because Boone was the first character to be buried there.

Dialogue On Dialogue: Commentary by Roo: “The irony of the man who killed John delivering this sincere and heartfelt eulogy is what made this dialogue so good… and the humor from Lapidus at the end nailed it.”
