Dialogue On Dialogue: Commentary by blueneumann: “Outside of doubling down on the exposition that Jonah Hill’s character had a lousy time in high school (which will be wonderfully subverted the next day), and probably referencing Judy Blume, the movie handles this rather raw emotional moment by playing the situation for laughs. But also, if you use a Korean Church in your movie, someone’s got to pray to Korean Jesus.”
