Trivia: In Canada and the UK, the movie was called “The F Word.” Hollywood changed it to avoid an R rating.

Dialogue On Dialogue: Commentary by Gisela: “Wallace gives a very disenchanted view upon love. It’s a great plot idea, that they react on the text of the fridge magnets which are a common prop within kitchens of this generation. Written words are quite often lazy storytelling, but this example shows one more time, that every so called screenwriting rule (here: show, don’t tell) has exceptions. This lines are a ‘cute’ idea for a meet-cute.”
