Angie: I’d just like to say that Kate is always up in my ‘bidness.’
Kate: Well, when someone falls asleep with a curling iron in their hair, it becomes necessary to insert yourself in their ‘bidness.’
Angie: That happened two times.
Chaffee: Angie, bottom line, you’re carrying Kate’s baby and you do want to get paid, right.
Angie: Yeah.
Chaffee: That means that Kate does deserve some input. But Kate, you must remember that a surrogate is not your employee, but your partner.
Angie: Yeah, Kate, we’re partners. Like Tom and Jerry.
Kate: Tom and Jerry hate each other.
Angie: What? They love each other. What show are you watching?
Kate: They’re a cat and a mouse.
Angie: They have so much fun together.

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Support Group.

Trivia: Boo Boo Busters, the Professional Childproofing Company featured in this movie, is based on the real company in California. The owner of Boo Boo Busters, Kimberlee Mitchell, shipped a box of child safety devices to the production, production offices to use in the filming, including the now infamous toilet lock Amy Poehler’s character claimed was “broken.”

Dialogue On Dialogue: This is a surrogate support group and is structured with the classic comedy ‘rule of three’ with Kate and Angie’s argument the third of three therapy moments.
