The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Killing. Today’s suggestion by @msdanifernandez.

Trivia: Originally titled “King of the Jungle”, it was supposed to be about African lions living in the jungle, until the production team realized that African lions don’t live in the jungle. They wanted to focus on the real-life setting for an African lion, though a jungle where Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa does appear later on. Interestingly enough, the phrase “King of the Jungle” is still used on certain T-shirts sold at the Disney Store.

Dialogue On Dialogue: Scar’s ironic farewell words to Mufasa make this killing even more heinous.
