Brad: Do you remember crayola crayons? There was this one color… what was it called… oh, yeah. Blizzard blue. That was my favorite color in the world. And until tonight, I didn’t know why. It’s the very color of your eyes.
Leah: My eyes?
Brad: I schedule my entire day just to get a glimpse of you. It can be the worst day ever, but seeing you makes everything okay.
Leah: Does it?
Brad: Yeah. It does. I don’t know why. But I want to know. [places his hand on Leah’s thigh] I want to know you more. [leans in for a kiss] I want to know you today, tomorrow… forever.

Leah moves in for the kiss, then Brad grins.

Brad: Pretty good, huh? Took me six months to memorize that.
Leah: Yeah, and it’s gonna take me six months to forget.

She flings him off the bed.

Trojan War (1997), written by Andy Burg, Scott Myers

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Acting.

Trivia: The movie made three hundred nine dollars in ticket sales on a budget of fifteen million dollars.

Dialogue On Dialogue: It pains me to think about how a good script got turned into a bad movie, but at least I have Brad’s ‘crayola crayon come on speech’ to sustain me in my misery. Plus, it’s an example of a character putting on an act, so it slots in with this week’s Daily Dialogue theme.
