Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Acceptance Speech

After a week’s worth of meet-cutes [courtesy of a suggestion by robfrappier], next week the theme is acceptance speech, recommended by @TheBrokenCoco.

This could be a challenge. I can think of political movies. Maybe valedictory addresses. But what other possibilities? Hm. Okay, DDT fans, it’s on you to come up with 7 acceptance speeches in movies!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.

I’d also like to ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting.

Next Friday it will be time for the next round DDT suggestions, so get your recommendations ready.
