Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Agony
From this week’s theme — Surgery — we may be only a short hop away from the suggestion for next week: Agony, proposed by Illimani. First a definition: “extreme and generally prolonged pain; intense physical or mental suffering.” As here with Mr. Orange:

“We’re just gonna sit here and bleed until Joe Cabot sticks his fucking head through that door!
Of course, as in Reservoir Dogs, the agony can be based on a physical injury of some sort. However agony can arise from an emotional blow, so as you brainstorm memorable movie moments, don’t forget to mull over those possibilities as well.
The usual drill:
* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.
* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.
I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
Here is our lineup for upcoming Daily Dialogue themes:
March 3-March 9: Lecture
March 10-March 16: Sports Announcer [@dproII]
March 17-March 23: Card Game
March 24-March 30: Self Deprecation [JasperLamarCrab]
March 31-April 7: Prayer
April 8-April 14: Fear [Gordon]
See you in comments with your suggestions for movie scenes featuring next week’s theme: Agony. And thanks in advance for your suggestions!
