Daily Dialogue theme for next week: I’m not who you think I am

We’ve been going through a week’s worth of posts focusing on this theme: Making a scene, suggested by Trent Carroll. Next week’s theme: I’m not who you think I am, suggested by Mark Twain:

We are talking major revelation, one character removing their ‘mask’ to unveil their true identity. Or their angle. Their plan. Perhaps clearing up a case of mistaken identity.

Surely, we can come up with 7 great examples of this!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
