Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Profanity

We’ve spent a week delving into interrogations, thanks to the suggestion from Def Earz. This upcoming week, we provide an aural assault on any censors who might happen by with the theme of profanity, offered up by JasperLamarCrab.

“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a golly gosh darn.”

Sure, we can go straight into the gutter with this one. Heck, just do Tarantino movies. But why not dig deeper? What are some examples of using profanity in a scene that is clever… interesting… distinctive… not just dropping a fusillade of F-bombs, but some key moments where the profanity provides some extra meaning.

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
