Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Sarcasm

This week has been pregnancy announcement. Next week: Sarcasm. Sounds like the makings of the movie Juno. But seriously, has there ever been any movie produced where a character at some point hasn’t dropped a sarcastic line on another character?

“Now I have a machine gun. Ho-ho-ho!”

Thanks to blueneumann for the recommendation, I feel a tidal wave of suggestions coming on, so let’s get at it this week, people!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
