Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Side Character!

After a week’s worth of dialogue featuring departures [suggested by MatchesMalone], this week we focus on side characters [thanks to Teddy Pasternak]:

There are primary characters, secondary characters, and even tertiary characters. Those latter two categories are what we can call side characters. And they can be great. This is an opportunity for us to feature some great dialogue from stellar side characters.

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.

I’d also like to ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting.
