Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Time Travel Talk
Our Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Time Travel Talk, suggested by Bob_Reo_Inc.

“I don’t want to talk about time travel
because if we start talking about it
then we’re going to be here all day talking about it,
making diagrams with straws.”
Maybe you’ll never write a time travel movie. But if you do, you will have to provide some exposition about how and why it works. That’s one reason why you should be interested in next week’s DD posts.
The other reason is this: Think of all the memorable time travel movies including Back to the Future, The Terminator, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Donnie Darko, Primer, Time Bandits, The Time Machine, Twelve Monkeys, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. I’m sure there are more, those are just off the top of my head.
So you know the usual drill:
* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.
* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.
I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
Here is our lineup for upcoming Daily Dialogue themes:
June 10-June 16: Flirting [SabinaGiado]
June 17-June 23: Happy Birthday
