Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Phone call revelation

As we wind down a week’s worth of riffs [courtesy of a suggestion by churnage], this week is something pretty specific: phone call revelations, suggested by Debbie Moon.

This is going to be a challenge, folks. Memorable movie moments where some revelation gets conveyed over the phone. I’m counting on you to come up with seven examples.

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.

I’d also like to ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting.
