Daily Dialogue theme next week: Apology

We have one more day of this week’s theme — statement of theme [thanks to John Penny for that suggestion] — and start up on Monday with a brand new weekly theme: Apology, suggested by John Arends.

Small apologies, big apologies, earnest apologies, lying apologies. Characters screw up in movies and sometimes they have to try to make amends for their lapse in judgment.

What noteworthy cinematic apologies come to mind?

You know the drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcription source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.
