Daily Dialogue theme next week: First date

As we wind down our week’s worth of Daily Dialogues on the theme of therapy (thanks, Despina, for that), we prepare for next week with a suggestion from igetsbuckets: First Date!

I would think this theme is right in the wheelhouse for all you folks who like romantic comedies, romantic dramas and romance in general. So let’s see your chops this week, okay? Conjure up some notable movie first dates and lob them my way!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
