Daily Dialogue theme next week: Kevin Smith

As we wrap up a week of sibling rivalry Daily Dialogue posts [thanks to Traci Nell Peterson for that recommendation], next week’s theme per a suggestion from Sean Harris is writer-director Kevin Smith.

My guess we could subtitle this NSFW week given Smith’s propensity for profanity. No matter. Anything goes as we explore your favorite dialogue in Kevin Smith movies.

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
