Daily Dialogue theme next week: Science

For a week we have been about asking favors [thanks, rdlln, for that theme]. Now it’s time to get blinded by… SCIENCE, suggested by plinytheelder_t:

Of course, me being me, I go the low-brow sci-fi route with the above photo, but pliny has other ideas. This is what he wants:

Accurate scenes about real-life science/engineering or scientists/engineers (Since math is the language of science, scenes involving higher math are acceptable too). That means no bogus science like flux capacitors, warp drives or the like. And computer science is not a real science, so no coding/hacking type scenes.

Tougher challenge. More Apollo 13 than Plan 9 From Outer Space. So the gauntlet hath been laid down!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
