Daily Dialogue theme next week: Therapy

As we wind down our week’s worth of Daily Dialogues on the theme of dramatic reveal (thanks, hoernsch, for that), we prepare for next week with a suggestion from Despina: Therapy!

“I’m haunted, but I can’t see by what!”

The scenes that spring to mind are primarily mental therapy, but there’s also physical therapy. Either poses an interesting dynamic: A patient under the care and supervision of a therapist. A lot of different ways a writer can go with that relationship. Let’s explore some of them this week!

The usual drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or some other transcript source.

* Copy/paste the URL of an accompanying video from YouTube or some other video source.

I’d also ask you to think about why the dialogue is notable. Is there anything about the dialogue which provides some takeaway re screenwriting?
