Actually I almost dozed off writing that paragraph, that is how stultifying exposition can be!

Starting Monday, February 27, I’ll be offering a 1-week online screenwriting course through Screenwriting Master Class called “Handling Exposition.” In it we will explore six principles — Fascination, Mystery, Revelation, Conflict, Action, Humor — keys to knowing how to manage exposition in an entertaining, compelling way.

The class involves short daily written lectures, online forum discussions, the opportunity to put theory into practice by workshopping some of your own script pages, and a teleconference to discuss course content as well as screenwriting in general.
