Remember: The winner [or winners] get a free script consultation with me. The number of spec script sales will be determined by what I come up with in my coverage of the market this year. Again not an exact science, but based on years of using pretty much the same type of resources to confirm deals.
A couple of things:
* If the total is 102, I will be doing a lot of script consults!
* If I missed anyone, please let me know in comments.
* A few folks have asked for my prediction, so here it is: 80.
* The best use of ‘math’ to determine their guess is by Mike Wire who posted this:
I’m going with 88.
Optimum number of pages in a comedy = 95
Minus Harvey Weinstein’s belt size = 42
Kodak film stock 5218 = 35mm
Sum — 88
Perfectly logical!
Thanks to all for entering. We are currently on 3 spec script sales and counting for 2013. Onward and upward!
FYI: Each day this week at noon Eastern, I will be providing analysis of the 2012 spec script sales, so be looking for that.
