First review: “Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”
Speaking of Kenneth Turan, LA Times movies critic, here’s a 1-minute video of him in Cannes, moments after emerging from the world premiere today of the latest installment in the Indiana Jones saga. Sounds like a big thumbs up!
Raiders of the Lost Ark is such fantastic entertainment — not surprising with Spielberg directing a brilliant script written by Larry Kasdan (who also wrote arguably the best of the Star Wars movies, The Empire Strikes Back). The next two Indiana Jones movies paled by comparison to the original. Let’s hope Turan is right and Crystal Skull is a winner.
