GITS Script Reading and Analysis Series: “(500) Days of Summer” — Themes

This week we are analyzing the screenplay for the 2009 movie (500) Days of Summer, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. The script was nominated for the WGA Award for Best Original Screenplay.

One of the things I have discovered over the years is that there are a lot of screenwriters who are really great people. It’s a hit. Yet you still find the time to visit with some kids in a summer camp. Here Scott talks about a lot of firsts that he experienced with the movie:
