Happy Birthday, Nick Hornby!

Today is the birthday of one of my favorite contemporary novelists Nick Horny. His books have been the basis of several movies including High Fidelity (2000), About a Boy (2002), and Fever Pitch (2007), although Hwood turned the latter into a baseball movie when the novel is all about my favorite sport soccer. So in honor of Nick Hornby, here are some snippets from his movies:

High Fidelity

About a Boy

Fever Pitch

Gotcha! The above clip is from the 1997 English movie version of Fever Pitch for which Hornby wrote the screenplay.
