Over the years, I’ve taken up over 200 questions related to screenwriting, both craft and business, and provided a response to each. You can check out those archives here.

Chances are if you’ve got a concern or issue, you can get some useful information and feedback there. However if you have a question that I haven’t taken up before, click on RESPONSE and post it there. I’ll be happy to consider doing a blog post with my thoughts on the matter.

For the record, I have been in this business for over three decades working at it from a lot of different perspectives — screenwriting, producing, teaching, blogging — so I have what I think are pretty well informed opinions. But they are just that: Opinions. Sometimes, maybe even oftentimes, there is no one right answer to a question. The smart thing to do is seek out information from a variety of sources.

That said, a lot of the questions I’ve taken up in the past led to some excellent discussions based on reader comments, so the Go Into The Story Reader Questions archive is chock full of quality content.

The entertainment business is going through a sea change right now on multiple fronts. It’s a great time to be a content creator and screenwriting is one way to do that.
