I ask each of the Movies You Made participants to answer this question: What is it about this particular story that inspired you to make your movie? Here is Francisco Infante’s response:
We realized heartbreak is universal. Everyone has been the heartbreakers and the heartbroken. This drove us to create a unique, relatable, and painfully honest portrayal of how love and relationships evolve as we grow older — through the eyes and thoughts of a brutally honest character who is terrified of growing up and settling down. We believe everyone has felt that way at some point in their lives.
