Plot Synopsis: It’s the middle of the night in a diner at the edge of town and a man has settled in to read a book and enjoy a club sandwich. Unfortunately, he is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I asked each of the filmmakers in this month’s series to answer this question: What inspired you about this particular story to make it a movie? Here is Gabe’s answer:

I liked the idea of playing with audience expectation. You never know what’s really going on here (do they have the wrong guy?) or how to respond (is this a comedy?) which hopefully keeps you engaged and entertained.
